5 Things I’m Obsessed with Right Now
If there’s one thing I’m routinely guilty of, it’s overusing the word “obsessed.” In the past week alone, I’ve become “obsessed” with the coffee at Ralph’s. “Obsessed” with Cate Blanchett’s wardrobe in Tár. “Obsessed” with the nail color Limited Addiction for a manicure that screams FALL.
In the spirit of fall obsessions I’ve recently fallen for, here are some of my recent “can’t-live-without” items that have been in constant rotation this past month:
The Cozy PJ. I never thought I would become a button-down PJ kinda gal until I met these linen PJs from Parachute. While you might not readily equate linen with a warm and cozy vibe, these particular PJs are super breathable yet perfectly comfy. I swear I get a better night’s sleep whenever I wear these to bed, and I also swear they get softer with every wash. Just make sure to size down by one size, as they run a tad large.
The Sleep Sock. While we’re on the topic of sleep, I think I might have found the world’s coziest sleep socks. As someone who routinely gets cold hands and feet (especially in the winter months!), the sleep sock is a non-negotiable for me. I love these socks more than the rest because they are super breathable and moisture-wicking yet completely plush. And after a handful of trips to the wash, they’re still as cozy as the day I bought them.
The Foaming Hand Soap. There’s something infinitely more satisfying about foaming hand soap rather than the liquid kind. Perhaps it boils down to sheer laziness, but the foam feels like a real experience, whereas the liquid feels more like WORK. I particularly love the foaming hand soap from Blueland because the pump bottle is reusable and the hand soap tabs all smell FABULOUS. For something as mundane and frequent as hand-washing, best to make it really count!
The Incense Paper Burner. As a complete home scent freak, I was thrilled to have received this as a gift from my sister’s fiancé. This impeccably chic incense burner is an adorable little clay hut OBJET. Burn the Papier D’Armenie underneath the hut and transport yourself to 19th century France (the paper has been around since 1885, and the fragrance has remained the same). Bonus: place the sheets in drawers, bookshelves, or suitcases for a subtle scent boost.
The Table Linen. I love a good set of table linens because they instantly dress up your table with minimal effort. The table linens by Bed Threads (including the tablecloth, placemats and napkins) are an absolute dream to use (and even easier to clean!). I whip out the table cloth for impromptu dinner parties and routinely use the scalloped placemats to make weeknight dinners feel a bit more special.
